The location is fantastic, just a short drive to the beach and a nearby golf course. The air conditioning struggled to keep the room cool, making it uncomfortable at times.

Clean rooms with comfortable beds and a nice outdoor pool area. Had to pay $10 for parking and management could be more friendly. Close to a golf course, too.

I couldn’t believe how rude the front desk guy was! He charged us upfront and still wanted a cash deposit, then accused my wife of drinking. It felt so uncomfortable, like we were being scolded for asking questions. Total nightmare!

Clean rooms, nice outdoor pool. Wi-Fi was weak in the room.

The room was surprisingly comfortable. The wood grain vinyl flooring was a practical touch, making it easier to manage humidity. The newly tiled bathroom featured an eco-friendly toilet and a pleasant color scheme. A microwave and fridge were provided, which added convenience. the AC struggled to cool the space effectively, making it a bit warm at times. The colorful comforter was a nice accent. Unfortunately, garbage cans were absent from the property, and the locked bathroom door was concerning for families.

The place is clean, plenty of room for the kids to run around. Nice staff, they were nice to my family.
It wasn’t cheap, but it’s still alright.

Just a short stroll down the road, you can find Crest Lake Park, a lovely green space where I enjoyed wandering among the beautiful palm trees and relaxing outdoors; plus, the beach is only about 4.5 km away, making it super easy to get there in just a few minutes by car or a quick bike ride if you want to soak up the sun; I also loved the variety of nearby dining options, with great spots like Nature’s Food Patch and a few fantastic restaurants all within walking distance; the hotel itself was clean and had a nice pool area for unwinding at the end of the day but the beds could use some improvement for extra comfort.

The check-in was quick and friendly. The building's vibrant colors are inviting, and the renovated rooms are spacious. The shower was excellent, and the beds were comfortable—perfect for a good night's sleep. My son thoroughly enjoyed the pool. the owner's numerous rules felt excessive and inconsistent. There were no towel replacements for a family of four, and parking incurs an additional fee. The owners' family seems to overstay their welcome, making privacy difficult. The cleanliness was lacking; no trash was emptied during our stay, and basic amenities like coffee weren’t provided. While the location is convenient, I recommend evaluating options if you prioritize peace and personal space.

Great location near the medical center and just a quick trip over the bridge to the beach. The motel is clean and inviting, with colorful decor and a nice outdoor area. the pool was unheated, which was disappointing, and the bathroom lacked towel bars. Enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, though there was a bit of road noise. The fridge had a fish odor, and check-in was delayed by three hours. the staff was warm and welcoming, making it feel homey despite a few quirks. Perfect for a budget-friendly stay!

My friends and I had a blast in Clearwater, hitting up the epic waterpark and chilling at the rad beach. The waves were gnarly, dude! The hotel was super close to all the action, making it easy to crash after a wild day of soaking up the sun and catching those dolphin vibes.
Wish there was a lit nighttime hangout spot within walking distance from the hotel for us young party animals looking to dance the night away! .

The slides, wave pool, and lazy river at this sunny hideaway made for endless fun in the sun.
My kids wished for a playground on-site.

The updates give a fresh Florida vibe. The big refrigerator and responsive staff really make things easier.
Don't expect daily housekeeping surprises.

The rooms were updated and spotless. The pool area was well-kept, and the staff, especially Mike, were incredibly welcoming. Conveniently located near downtown and the beach, I highly recommend this hotel for its comfort and hospitality.

The air conditioning in our room worked well, keeping us cool during the hot Florida days. there was no dressing area or designated space to hang our clothes, which made it a bit challenging to keep everything organized. We appreciated the garden furniture outside where we could relax and enjoy the surroundings. The sink in the bathroom was clean, but we noticed they didn't provide free toiletries, which was a bit disappointing. The room had a flat-screen TV, which was a nice addition for entertainment. The floor was made of parquet, giving a cozy feel to the room. The fridge in the room was old and quite loud, which was a bit bothersome, especially at night. Unfortunately, we experienced issues with the Wi-Fi during our stay. The connection was unreliable and slow, making it difficult for us to get work done. the road construction on Cleveland Street made it challenging to access the hotel easily. our stay at Tropical Inn & Suites had its positives and negatives.

I had the Sauteed chicken breast with tropical pina colada cream sauce topped with toasted coconut - the fanciest dish ever! High-class dining at Jimmy's Fish House is a must in Clearwater Beach.
I just loved not having my sheets changed the whole week. Such a delightful surprise!

Great location for accessing beaches & surroundings! Clean rooms, comfy bed. Friendly staff, beautiful pool, safe area. No inconvenience from nearby road construction. Near concert venue, beach, grocery store. Owners welcoming & accommodating. Convenient amenities like fridge & microwave.
Inconsistent service , from limited towels & cleaning to extra charges. Noise issue , some rooms better than others.

I chose Tropical Inn & Suites, Downtown for its proximity to Clearwater Beach which I wanted to visit very much. The friendly and multilingual staff pleasantly surprised me, and I loved the Taste of France with fresh made to order sweet and savory crepes.
Firmer bed than preferred.

the property has been renovated with a fresh florida beach look and extensive interior improvements. the room was clean, with a comfortable bed, and a large, nicely remodeled bathroom. the owner was very friendly and the location was convenient, right between two family members. it's a charming place with vibrant colors and a cute area for lounging outside. the beach is less than 10 min away, making it a great value for the location.
Nothing could have been better! 😊
